so today was my scholarship interview. i was so nervous just sitting there waiting for them to call me in to set up my artwork. it was kind of cool they had easles set up around the room and you could display your artwork however you wanted. when the judges first walked in i was really nervous. but they were really nice so it made it a little easier. they asked me about like what inspired certain pieces and what mediums i liked working with best. the one judge seemed more enthusiastic then the other. the one judge was smiling and had like wide eyes and was like taking in everything i said and the other was like very like distant yet setting up most of the questions. it was pretty cooli didn`t get any real feedback since they have to be general with everything to be fair. i did my best and brought my best though, and i just hope i get the scholarship ! advice for anyone who get`s this type of oppurtunity, relax, and know your the best you can be & don`t tense up. there`s some pretty nice kids that present too. i met a girl there that had some impressive artwork. one of her pieces was painted on a door, she said it was an assignment they had to do. it was pretty amazing.
So i leave for MICA for the pre college program in like 2 and a half weeks of so, i`m really excited i can`t wait for it ! i`ll be posting alot through out all that too. hey AP kids ! excited ? i am. :) hope you guys keep up with me over the summer, i`ll be checking to see if any of you guys set up blogs too !
